 MESSAGE FROM THE MARSHAL

On behalf of the Town Of Sweetser and the Sweetser Police Department I would like to thank you for visiting our website. As the Town Marshal I take great pride in my duties, and continually work towards having a Police Department the community is proud of. We currently have in our fleet 3 patrol vehicles consisting of 1 Dodge Charger, 1 Chevrolet Impala, and 1 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As Town Marshal I hope to have each vehicle and each officer as well equiped as any other officer in the county or state. It is my hope that even though this is a small town with mainly small town issues, we can be outfitted, and trained appropriately to handle any major situations.

Marshal Tarlton is an Honors graduate of the Basic Course of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Chief Deputy Marshal Owens is a Basic Course graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
